Kansas City Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos took part in a unique ESPN Brasil talk show in virtual reality with the interview held among virtual avatars gathered in a virtual ESPN studio within a virtual football stadium to talk football.
ESPN partnered with AltspaceVR for the live show Thursday, enabling fans from Brazil and the U.S. to use virtual reality devices to interact, hang out and even see hand gestures from the first NFL player to be born in Brazil.
NFL fans from Brazil and the United States were able to interact and ask questions in the AltspaceVR app through virtual reality devices such as Daydream by Google, Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
