Esports organiser and production company ESL has partnered with KRAFTON to launch a new series of tournaments to PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG).
ESL PUBG Masters will consist of four tournaments split between two regions, the Americas and Europe, with each housing a prize pool of $50,000 (£35,812).
Alongside receiving prize money, teams competing in ESL PUBG Masters have the opportunity to gain PUBG Global Championship (PGC) Qualification Points.
The first Masters tournament in the Americas will commence on April 7th. Titled ‘Phase 1’, the competition consists of three rounds and a group stage, all leading to a Grand Finals to be played over two weekends in late April and early May.
