Non-profit organisation Varsity Esports Foundation (VEF) has joined the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) as a strategic member.
VEF, which provides financial assistance and other resources for students to excel in esports, will collaborate to produce educational materials focused on the principles of fair play and integrity. The strategic kinship is said to develop ‘robust youth protection measures to mitigate risks associated with youth participation in the esports industry,’ according to a release.
Stephen Hanna, ESIC’s Director of Global Strategy commented: “We are happy to welcome the Varsity Esports Foundation into ESIC membership.
