Guild Esports has appointed industry veteran Grant Rousseau as its Director of Esports, in the UK-specific esports company co-owned by David Beckham.
Rousseau was the temporary Head of Executive Affairs, then Excel Esports Director of Operations. According to a post that he made on LinkedIn, Roseau would try to bring the company a victorious mentality and finally a few trophies.”
Rousseau worked as Team Operations Director for the OverActive Media Community and Operations Director for Splyce prior to he joined the Excel Group.
In connection with the announcement, Rousseau tweeted: “The chance to lead the performance of a rising esports organization from scratch is the one to which I have longed.
