Like at many schools, freshmen on the University of Nebraska football team need a certain GPA to get out of study hall hours. While it took the majority of the team a little while to achieve the mark, Prince Amukamara remembers a pair of teammates who escaped the hours requirement with ease.
“If you got over a 3.0 or something, you got out of study hall,” explained Amukamara, the Chicago Bears cornerback. “So Blake [Lawrence] and Adi [Kunalic] were like the first people to get out and me and other guys were still in there. Those guys took school serious and are definitely serious about the business.
