Washington Capitals fans who used the Monumental Sports Network app to stream Wednesday’s preseason game were able to switch between four different camera angles while also rewinding, replaying and sharing clips.
Monumental Sports Network — a digital platform serving the Washington D.C. region that was live streaming its first Capitals game on a simulcast with CSN Mid-Atlantic — is also planning to bring this interactive and personalized viewing capability to some upcoming Washington Wizards preseason games as well, according to Vice President and General Manager Zach Leonsis.
Capitals fans who used the app to watch the game on desktop, tablet, mobile and OTT streaming devices were experiencing the multi-camera functionality built by Kiswe Mobile.
