Kazakhstani organisation AVANGAR has ceased operations to concentrate on building esports venues in its home nation.
The organisation announced the decision on April 1st through Twitter, though HLTV.org and Cybersport.ru have confirmed it’s genuine.
During its three-year lifespan, AVANGAR competed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, and PUBG Mobile.
Perhaps the highlight of AVANGAR’s existence was placing second at the StarLadder Berlin CS:GO Major in 2019. The team also won the likes of BLAST Pro Series: Moscow, DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro, and WePlay!
