The NBA’s Atlanta Hawks are upping their analytics game to learn more about their fans.
The team announced Thursday that it has expanded its relationship with KORE Software. KORE builds sports management software and offers products covering sponsorships, suites, ticketing, and fan engagement to more than 100 professional sports clubs and leagues.
The Hawks plan to use KORE to “better harness, analyze, and integrate data” collected from fans and other people who attend State Farm Arena for events, according to an announcement.
“With the fan’s experience being a top priority, we felt compelled to ramp up our data systems and capabilities and expand our data footprint,” said Dave Elgin, the Hawks’ vice president of analytics, in a statement.
