Adidas Partners With Parley To Unveil Swimwear Line Made Of Recycled Ocean Plastics

Adidas revealed its new Parley Swimwear products which are made from recycled ocean plastics.

The material of the swimwear comes from fish creams and plastic wastes including debris and used fishing nets that have been fished out of the coastal areas. It is then processed into a recycled nylon yarn that according to adidas is weaved into a high performance durable fabric called INFINITEX that is chlorine-resistant and environmentally friendly.

The company unveiled men’s “Jammers,” swim boxers, as well as swim trunks. For women, one-piece swimsuits are available. Adidas also offers Parley sandals, made from recycled ocean plastic as well.
