Adaplay is looking to boost esports participation in the UK with the introduction of Rocket League and Fortnite tournaments for secondary school students.
The tournament organiser has created a series of competitions around the two titles in order to ‘create an inclusive, safe and secure environment’ for young people to compete in esports.
Adaplay’s platform, which launched in August, allows students to create a team, choose a game tournament, and then play competitive video games against different schools. Each tournament will boast a prize pool of £500 with competing schools paying £5.
