Voting is now open for defenders in Sporting Kansas City's 20th Anniversary Best XI, presented by Bud Light. The ballot features 14 players, including Sporting Legends Peter Vermes and Jimmy Conrad and current captain Matt Besler.
Altogether, the 14 nominees have a combined nine MLS Best XIs, 16 MLS All-Star appearances and two MLS Defender of the Year awards.
Voting for defenders is open through Sunday, followed by midfielders (March 28-April 3) and forwards (April 4-10).
The 20th Anniversary Best XI, presented by Bud Light, will be unveiled on April 13 during Sporting KC's match against the Colorado Rapids at Children's Mercy Park.
