The Swope Park Rangers announced Thursday that the club’s permanent home venue for the 2018 USL season will be Shawnee Mission South District Stadium in Overland Park, Kansas.
The Rangers will host their first match at the newly renovated, 7,500-seat stadium on Saturday, March 24, welcoming Seattle Sounders FC 2 for the club’s 2018 home opener.
“We look forward to making Shawnee Mission South District Stadium our new home fortress in 2018,” Swope Park Rangers head coach Paulo Nagamura said. “This is an exciting move for the club and we can’t wait for the upcoming season to begin.
