The Swope Park Rangers have signed 18-year-old forward Wilson Harris to a full USL contract, the club announced on Tuesday. Harris, a product of the Sporting Kansas City Academy, has made six USL appearances since joining the Rangers on an Academy contract in March. The signing is pending league and federation approval.
After making his professional debut for SPR in their 1-0 win over OKC Energy FC on May 5,Harris became the Rangers’ second youngest scorer in club history when he notched his first USL goal against Fresno FC on June 17. He has started three of six appearances for an SPR side that occupies fourth place in the USL’s Western Conference with an 8-4-4 record.
