The Swope Park Rangers today announced that the club has acquired goalkeeper Jon Kempin, midfielder Jimmy Medranda and forward Daniel Salloi on loan from Sporting Kansas City. All three players will be available for the Rangers’ season opener against Portland Timbers 2 on Saturday, March 26 at Children’s Mercy Park.
“I see this as a relationship between the Swope Park Rangers and the younger players of Sporting KC who need minutes,” Swope Park Rangers head coach Marc Dos Santos said. “I don’t see it as a loan, I see it more as a big squad between the two teams, and I think it’s excellent not only for the Rangers, but also Sporting KC.
