Sporting Kansas City has signed 24-year-old Honduran international defender Ever Alvarado, the club announced on Friday.
Alvarado will occupy an international roster spot when the Secondary Transfer Window opens on July 4, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P-1 Visa.
“Ever is a player we have been looking at for a while. He has a very good understanding of our region of the world being that he has played his entire career in CONCACAF,” Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes said. “Players from Honduras have always adapted well to MLS and we think he will not only help us in League play, but with other competitions we have coming up.
