Sporting Kansas City selected two players in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft Thursday, both of them 22-year-old college seniors. Matt Constant a center back from the University of North Carolina was taken with the 50th overall pick and winger Jamil Roberts from Marshall University was selected with the 77th overall pick. Sporting KC passed with the 82nd pick.
Constant played two seasons at the University of New Mexico before transferring to North Carolina. The Dallas native is 6-foot-6 and has been with the United States U-17 Residency and the Canadian U-20’s.
