Sporting Kansas City passed on its pick in the 2019 MLS End-of-Year Waiver Draft on Monday.
Twenty-two of 26 MLS clubs elected to pass during the End-of-Year Waiver Draft, which consisted of players who had been waived by their teams but didn’t meet the minimum years of service requirement for the Re-Entry Draft or Free Agency.
FC Cincinnati selected former Philadelphia Union midfielder Haris Medunjanin, the LA Galaxy picked former Orlando City SC defender Danilo Acosta, Minnesota United FC took former Orlando goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh, and the New England Revolution selected former New York City FC goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell.
