Sporting Kansas City already completed their first leg of preseason in Tucson, Arizona. Then went back to the bitter cold in Kansas City, but now they have returned to the Desert.
It couldn’t come at a better time as it is unseasonably warm, breaking 91 degrees today (in February!) in Tucson. Sporting KC returned for the Desert Diamond Cup preseason tournament. Their first match was against the Columbus Crew.
Their starting XI was composed of Tim Melia, Seth Sinovic, Matt Besler, Nuno Andre Coelho, Chance Myers, Lawrence Olum, Roger Espinoza, Jordi “Little Benny” Quintilla, Graham Zusi, Jacob Peterson and Brad Davis.
