Sporting Kansas City II announced the signing of Dutch winger David Panka on Friday. He will be added to the squad pending league and federation approval.
Panka holds both Dutch and Polish citizenship and most recently played for Miedz Legnica in the second tier of Poland. Panka originally signed to their second team last summer but quickly fought his way into the first team, where he scored one goal in 13 appearances in all competitions.
Before his recent six month stint in Poland the 21-year-old spent time in the academies of several Dutch clubs, which included Vitesse, SV Spakenburg, Roda ‘46 Leusden, SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden, and RKC Waalwijk.
