Sporting Kansas City officially broke ground on the Central Bank Sporting Complex during a ceremony with local dignitaries on Friday morning. Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and City Councilman Dan Fowler spoke at the event along with Sporting KC President and CEO Jake Reid and Central Bank Vice President Will Carter.

The $36 million multisport facility is scheduled to open in late summer of 2022.
