What do Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, Atlético Madrid's Yannick Carrasco and Liverpool's Divock Origi have in common? They all spent their formative years of development in the K.R.C. Genk Academy in Belgium before moving on to star at some of the top clubs in European soccer. What else do they have in common? They all trained under Genk Technical Coach Michel Ribeiro who helped these elite players hone their technical skills on the field. Starting in July, Sporting KC Academy players will have that same opportunity when Ribeiro begins a full-time position as Technical Coach with the club.
