Sporting KC are moving closer to completing the offseason checklist with the addition of Alec Kann.
Sporting KC selected Alec Kann with their pick in the 2015 MLS Re-entry draft. This is the first time Sporting KC has ever used a re-entry draft pick and, with it, they found a second string keeper to back up Tim Melia. His $60k salary makes him a cheap option for Sporting KC and gives Sporting KC the opportunity to loan out Jon Kempin so that he can get consistent starting opportunities.
With the move, Sporting KC checked off number eight on the offseason priority list.
