Sporting Kansas City II announced that they have added 23-year-old Ropapa Mensah. He is a Ghana Under-23 international and has made 103 appearances for USL Championship teams, scoring 27 goals with 15 assists.
Mensah first played in his home country with Inter Allies before going on loan to Penn FC in 2017. With seven goals and a pair of assists, it was Mensah’s best scoring season in 19 games. He was next loaned to Nashville SC where he scored six goals with six assists in 34 games.
The strong showing over his first two season prompted Nashville to purchase Mensah’s option after the 2018 season.
