Sporting Kansas City II continued their 2020 preseason with a 1-1 draw against North Texas SC at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas during a 120-minute match earlier today.
Dante Sealy – son of former Sporting KC striker Scott Sealy – opened the scoring for North Texas in just the 11th minute, making no mistake from the penalty spot.
Both sides traded blows throughout the game, with Sporting II making wholesale changes at the 75th minute.
As North Texas seemed to hold on for a victory, Sporting II snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat as Camden Riley was brought down in the area in the 120th minute, allowing freshly signed forward Fredinho Mompremier to step up and score, despite seeing his initial effort saved.
