Sporting Kansas City II opened the club's 2020 preseason camp on Monday, February 3 and will train in Kansas City for two weeks prior to the team's preseason opener against OKC Energy FC on Saturday, February 15 at Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.
Currently in camp are nine under contract players, two Sporting KC first team players, seven Sporting KC Academy players, two 2020 MLS SuperDraft selections and six trialists. Sporting II players Wilson Harris, John Pulskamp, Kaveh Rad and Brooks Thompson are all training with the Sporting Kansas City first team during their preseason.
Sporting II has added six players this offseason: defenders Danny Barbir, Petar Cuic and Rad, midfielders Christian Duke and Duval Wapiwo and forward Dominik Resetar.
