Sporting Kansas City striker Alan Pulido enjoyed a sensational start to life in Major League Soccer, scoring goals in the club's first two victories against Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the Houston Dynamo to open the 2020 campaign.
More than two months have elapsed since then, during which time Pulido has either been training at home or working out individually at Sporting's Compass Minerals National Performance Center amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the momentum around Major League Soccer's return to play has picked up steam in recent weeks, with multiple outlets reporting that the league plans to stage a summer competition in Orlando involving all 26 teams.
