U.S. Soccer announced today the Player category ballots for election to the National Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2020, which includes seven former Sporting Kansas City players.
Ballots for the Veteran and Builder categories will be revealed at a later date, with voting for all three to begin on Wednesday, March 18.
Players in their first year of eligibility include Brad Davis, Justin Mapp and Herculez Gomez. Longtime MLS midfielders Davis and Mapp spent the 2016 campaign with Sporting, while Gomez was a Kansas City forward from 2008-2009.
The Player ballot also includes a pair of Sporting Legends in midfielder Chris Klein and forward Josh Wolff (pictured above).
