Sporting Kansas City center back Abdul Rwatubyaye is the latest player to be called up to represent their country in the upcoming international window. Rwatubyaye becomes the fifth KC player to be called up, joining Botond Barath (Hungary), Jaylin Lindsey (US U20), Krisztian Nemeth (Hungary), and Johnny Russell (Scotland). He was called up to join Rwanda for their final African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Ivory Coast.
Rwanda is already eliminated from qualifying, they currently sit fourth in their four team group with zero wins, two draws, and three losses through their first five group games.
