Yesterday, MLS’s Tom Bogert reported that Sporting Kansas City had exercised the purchase option on Gadi Kinda’s loan contract to make his move from Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem permanent. Kinda has been a strong presence in Sporting’s midfield in 2020 appearing in 18 of KC’s 21 league games this year scoring six goals and adding four assists in that time. The Israeli citizen who was born in Ethiopia also earned himself his first senior national team call up for the September international window, but at the time clubs were allowed to turn down call ups of players and Kinda did not get released.
