Recap: Swope Park Rangers fall to 3-0 defeat at Saint Louis FC

The Swope Park Rangers fell to a 3-0 defeat at Saint Louis FC on Saturday night. First-half goals from Schillo Tshuma and Chad Bond put Saint Louis in a commanding position before the Rangers’ Oumar Ballo was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in first-half stoppage time. Irvin Herrera added a third early in the second half before Bond was also ejected in the closing stages.

The Rangers began the game brightly and threatened in the second minute, when Johnny Grant, who was making his first start for the club, glided past several challenges and fired the ball across the face of goal but no SPR forward was able to turn it home.
