Sporting Kansas City forward Krisztian Nemeth earned his 35th career cap for Hungary on Friday, making his first international appearance since March as a second-half substitute in Hungary's 1-0 loss at Greece in UEFA Nations League C.
Trailing 1-0 after Kostas Mitroglou (Olympique de Marseille) opened the scoring for the hosts in the 65th minute, Hungary head coach Marco Rossi brought Nemeth off the bench for the final 15 minutes at OACA Spyros Louis in Athens to make his UEFA Nations League debut.
Hungary, who opened their UEFA Nations League campaign last month with a 1-0 loss at Finland and a 2-1 win over Greece with Sporting Kansas City forward Daniel Salloi in the squad, now sit in third place in Group 2 and will travel to Estonia for a 1:45 p.
