Swope Park Rangers forward Hadji Barry will join the Guinea Men’s National Team for the first time in his career after being selected by head coach Paul Put for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast on Nov. 18 at Stade 28 Septembre in the Guinean capital of Conarky.
“It’s really an honor and I’m thankful of this opportunity to represent my country. This is like a dream come true. I can’t wait,” Barry said. “It will be very exciting going back home and sharing this special moment with my family, because I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support from day one.
