As is the case for most teams in the week of the MLS SuperDraft, Sporting Kansas City had a busy week. Though this week was busy, it wasn’t necessarily for the same reason as other MLS clubs. Sporting KC traded out of their first round pick, and won’t pick until the 52nd overall pick in round three.
Instead, Sporting KC signed their fourth Homegrown player, Daniel Salloi. They appear to be on the verge of finalizing things with this mysterious foreign defensive signing who is not that rumored left back from the Spanish first division, La Liga.
