The first two rounds of the NCAA men’s soccer tournament are behind us and of the 12 Sporting Kansas City academy graduates who started the tournament, only three remain in the tournament. Of those three, only one is a regular contributor on the field, Grayson Barber of Clemson. Barber scored the winning goal in overtime for the Tigers in their 2-1 win over Charlotte on the weekend. They’ll host Providence in the next round of the tournament this coming weekend. The other two players have not appeared for their school, Connor Jordan-Hyde is at 10 seeded Virginia Tech who defeated New Hampshire this weekend, they’ll play seventh seeded Standford in the third round.
