Former Sporting Kansas City academy player and Swope Park Rangers goalkeeper, Steven Tekesky is a freshman at West Virginia. He now looks to be establishing himself as their starting goalkeeper. After making just two appearances off the bench in the Mountaineers first 11 games, Tekesky was given his first start after West Virginia lost 7-0 to Pitt and 2-0 to Pacific. In the three games since, Tekesky has recorded a 1-0-2 record, allowing just a single goal in those three games. Here’s an update on the rest of the academy players in college.
