While the college season carries on, one former Sporting Kansas City academy player is away from his school on national team duty. High Point freshman, Karson Kendall, who made his full national team debut for the US Virgin Islands back in 2016, was recalled again by the US Virgin Islands for the October international window. The US Virgin Islands are in Group A of the CONCACAF Nations League C and were 0-2 in the group before the October games, both against Barbados. In the first of the two games, Kendall did not earn his third cap (his second came earlier this year in a 3-0 win over Anguilla in Nations League qualifying), instead he was an unused substitute as the US Virgin Islands fell 1-0.
