Northwest Missouri State University continued their dominant season with a impressive 44-13 win over Emporia State in the second round of the 2016 NCAA Division II Football Championship. The win sets up a quarterfinal match this weekend with No. 3 seed Harding, who defeated Sioux Falls 27-24 after Tristan Parsley kicked a 35-yard field goal in overtime to win the game.
For the third consecutive year, the NCAA Division II Football Championship will be held at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas. The match will kick off at at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, December 17 and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.
