Sporting warmed my heart in Week 2, but most of the other MLS matches confused my head. It’s not like any team in MLS has become a final product at this point. Sure, points earned in March count come October, and opportunities missed now can eventually cost a team a playoff spot, but in terms of figuring out where teams stand relative to one another all results should be taken with a grain of salt until sometime this summer. Such is the way things are in a salary capped league where parity reigns.
We still had some really bizarre MLS results last weekend.
