When I do these expansion updates I usually like to have some news on St Louis since they are future cross state rivals for Sporting Kansas City. Unfortunately, I don’t have any new news on St Louis MLS expansion. That said, I’m fascinated by the growth of MLS and the news just keeps coming.
This week big news came out of Detroit, Las Vegas and Miami. Without further delay, let’s get to it.
Detroit, Michigan
Just last week I was saying I didn’t favor Detroit as it’s a city in decline and they already have four professional teams across the big five leagues (see what I did there).
