A little late to this as he tweeted the news out on the ninth of November, but former Sporting Kansas City midfielder, an the first free agent signing in Major League Soccer history, Justin Mapp called time on his career. Mapp over 300 league appearances across his career before signing with Kansas City in a big announcement as he was the first free agent signing under the league’s new policy. Unfortunately Mapp’s time in KC was less than successful and became more of a joke to many fans than anything else. Injuries limited Mapp to just six appearances for KC for only 43 minutes played, becoming the league’s first free agent bust as well.
