Macissé Diop will make his debut as Sporting Kansas City’s eMLS gamer today at eMLS League Series One presented by PlayStation, taking place at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California.
The 21-year-old Diop was unveiled as Sporting’s eMLS player last month and will now put his FIFA prowess to the test in a tournament featuring 22 professional gamers, each representing an MLS club.
The eMLS League Series One begins this afternoon with regular season play behind closed doors, whittling the 22 competitors down to eight quarterfinalists—four players from the Eastern Conference and four players from the Western Conference.
