Sporting KC and Rangers forward Kharlton Belmar has been named USL Player of the Month for March, the league announced today. Belmar scored four goals and added two assists in just three games in March, allowing him to win the honor with 37 percent of the vote.
“It’s an honor,” Belmar said. “It’s a testament to all the hard work that all of us put in during preseason and getting ready for the season. We’ve got to continue to take that into the rest of the year and continue to just keep up the hard work and continue to push and carry on with the momentum.
