KC Comets fall to Tropics

The Kansas City Comets fell to the Florida Tropics with a 7-4 loss on Sunday afternoon.

The Comets return from Florida with their first two losses of the season, including Friday’s overtime thriller. KC did have some rotation with Robert Kelly, Mirko Sandivari, and Robert Kelly all getting time on Sunday. Kevin Ellis was absent with a knee injury while Ray Lee’s action was limited.

Anthony Arico scored the only goal of the first quarter for the Florida Tropics, giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage. Joey Tavernese doubled Florida’s lead, but Ramone Palmer was able to pull one back for the Comets off a restart.
