All three Kansas City teams were again in action this weekend and two of them picked up points on the road in smash and grab style. Sporting Kansas City picked up a big 2-0 win on the road after holding on in a first half where they were out shot 7-1. In New Jersey, KC NWSL’s winless start to the season reached 13, but they stop their six game losing streak as an amazing goal by Mariana Larroquette saw KC pick up a point against Gotham FC. The one loss on the weekend came at home where Sporting KC II feel 4-2 to visiting Louisville City.
