The Swope Park Rangers closed out their regular season last night with a come from behind win over Seattle Sounders 2 at Swope Soccer Village last night. Former Sporting Kansas City academy player, Nansel Selbol capped off the comeback scoring a penalty kick in the 54th minute to give the Rangers the lead. Selbol’s goal also turned out to be the 100th league goal that the Rangers have scored in their two years of exisistence. Here are other milestones and stats from last night.
The loss was Peter Vermes' 105th in all competitions as KC's head coach, breaking his tie with Bob Gansler for most in team history (Vermes has been in charge of 61 more games).
