Along with setting a club record for saves in a regular season game last night, Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper, Tim Melia also reached a milestone for his time in Kansas City. The former MLS pool goalkeeper made his 100th appearance and 100th start in all competitions for Sporting last night. Melia became the third goal. Melia actually became the fifth Sporting goalkeeper to hit that mark, joining Tony Meola (156), Jimmy Nielsen (142), Bo Oshoniyi (110), and Kevin Hartman (100).
