Sporting Kansas City suffered a set back in their MLS regular season opener, falling 2-1 late to Los Angeles FC on a goal by Adama Diomande. Also this weekend the Kansas City Comets moved two games over .500 and put them separation between themselves and the third place St. Louis Ambush in the race for the second playoff spot in the MASL’s South Central Conference.
