Matt Besler broke another of Kerry Zavagnin’s longevity records last night in Sporting Kansas City’s 2-0 win over Minnesota United. Besler made his 292nd appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Zavagnin. The record gives Besler pretty much all of the records for longevity in club history. His next target is becoming the first player to make 250 league appearances for KC as well as the first to play 300 games across all competitions.
