Sporting Kansas City was off this weekend, but the Swope Park Rangers and Kansas City Comets were in action at home this weekend with the Rangers picking up a 2-2 draw with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds while the Comets picked up an 11-7 win over the St. Louis Ambush as they push for a playoff spot. As a quick bonus stat, two Sporting defenders made international appearances this weekend while on national team duty, Abdul Rwatubyaye and Botond Barath both appeared for Rwanda and Hungary respectively. The appearances were their first for the country since joining Sporting, they became the 49th and 50th players to represent their country while a member of Sporting.
