News broke today that Jordi Quintilla, second year midfielder for Sporting Kansas City, will go on loan to their USL affiliate, the Swope Park Rangers. I recall being surprised that he wasn’t in the 18 against the San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday, but now we know why. He probably wasn’t even with the team on the road trip.
Quintilla has started off 2016 fairly strong, but not great. He got to make five starts so far. First for Benny Feilhaber, when he was out with an injury, then for a game when Roger Espinoza was suspended for a yellow card.
